The question everybody wants to ask, we want to make very clear and simple

2.9% + $1.30 per submitted payment.

Lets break this payment structure down. To accept credit cards the various companies that support this, in our case Stripe.com charge a fee. Stripe charges a fee of 2.9% + .30. So the vast majority of the fee goes to a much larger company and provider. We just take $1. Thats it.

The only confusing part here is "per submitted payment." What does that mean? Our organizations come in a few flavors, some are always going to be single individuals signing up and paying for a single participant. Other organizations have families sign up and we don't want to charge you for every registration, just when that family hits "submit." So if they go through the process and register 3 children and then go to pay their balance, it would just cost 2.9% plus $1.30.

Your organization can choose to "eat" the fees included or pass them onto the registrant as a convienance fee.
